Welcome to the sixth edition of Emergentia, a festival dedicated to emerging choreographic creation. Over the course of two weeks, we invite you to discover stage productions, workshops, and open studios led by choreographers based in Switzerland or abroad. 
Through movement, speech, song, and video, the artists featured in this edition explore themes as varied as eroticism, pastiche, the history of HIV through the lens of a personal archive, the history of dance, the psychological concept of double bind, and transformation.
This year, a new format highlights the artistic creation process: open studios. Open studios create the opportunity to share and discover a phase of the work of three artists co-produced by Emergentia. Lastly, two workshop proposals complete the program: the first is practice-oriented and led by choreographers and dancers Luara Raio and Shereya – who were welcomed last year at Emergentia – and the second is given as part of a collaboration with the ddd – Danse Dialogue Dramaturgie program of the AVDC – Association Vaudoise de Danse Contemporaine.
