Raphaëlle Mueller

Raphaëlle Mueller is a visual artist and researcher who merges art and science in a discursive geopolitical agenda.
Her recent research concerns the duality of the processes/representations of chemical toxicity, brought about by the neocolonialist policy of extracting geological resources and its use in our contemporary technological culture.
Her exploratory methods involve transdisciplinary dialogues and question the hidden and speculative connections between ecology, politics and humans.
She set out to find a new angle to our relationship with the environment and to forge new inter-species and inter-media relationships/links.
She obtained a Master’s in Visual Arts focused on Critical Curatorial Cybernetic Studies from the Geneva School of Art and Design (HEAD) and obtained the Excellency Prize HES-SO (2017). She previously studied Photography at ZHDK-Zurich and she holds other two diplomas from HEAD, a Bachelor’s in Visual Communication and a Master’s in Art ad New Media.
